I was born in Zimbabwe and moved to Canada in 2015, bringing with me a global perspective and an enduring curiosity about how economies and markets work. My academic journey led me to Simon Fraser University, where I earned a Bachelor’s degree in Economics and Business—a foundation that fuels my passion for understanding complex financial systems.
As a CFA charterholder and lifelong learner, I’m driven by an appetite for knowledge. My career has spanned diverse roles in equity research and trade services, where I found fulfillment in analyzing markets and engaging in meaningful conversations about investment strategies and long-term financial planning. Beyond the data, I enjoy writing about economics, finance, and philosophy, blending insights that refine my thinking and foster stronger mental models. My love for reading widely continually inspires me, allowing me to approach challenges with fresh perspectives and a deeper understanding.
Today, I serve as an Associate within Dixon Mitchell’s Private Client Services team, where I’m committed to leveraging my skills to support the firm’s growth while guiding clients on their financial journeys. Every day, I aim to embody Charlie Munger’s timeless advice: “Develop into a lifelong self-learner through voracious reading; cultivate curiosity and strive to become a little wiser every day.”
This blend of curiosity, analytical rigour, and a passion for learning keeps me excited about the ever-evolving world of finance—and ready for the next opportunity to learn, contribute, and grow.
