Prior to co-founding Dixon Mitchell, Rob served as Vice President and Chief Investment Officer of a national life insurance firm with $1.5 billion in investment assets. Leading a team of five, Robert directed the company's portfolio of equities, bonds, mortgages and directly-held real estate.
With extensive experience in all facets of wealth management, and expertise in risk management and investment policy, Rob is exceptional at evaluating both personal values and corporate goals to exceed client service standards.
In addition, Rob is a CFA charterholder, a member of the Chartered Financial Analyst Institute and past president of the 700-member Vancouver chapter.
He is also trustee of the Discovery Foundation, a charitable organization that fosters BC technological development and helps bring innovations to the marketplace.
